Dany Grimard

Dany has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and is a recognized leader in the defence and security sectors. A former officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, he served in both the Regular and Reserve Forces, bringing a deep understanding of military operations and the strategic priorities shaping Canada’s defence ecosystem.

He continues to support the military community through his involvement with the Canadian Special Forces Regiment Association and previously served as Honorary Colonel of a Royal Canadian Air Force squadron, reflecting his long-standing commitment to Canada’s defence institutions.

Dany is also Senior Director at Keira Capital Partners, an investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions transactions. Throughout his career, he has advised companies on strategic financing, growth initiatives and complex transactions.

Prior to founding Groupe Alpha², Dany served as Vice-President at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), where he specialized in corporate financing solutions combining debt and equity. He is also co-founder of a cybersecurity firm focused on the protection of critical data and digital infrastructure.

Through Groupe Alpha², he advises companies operating in the defence and dual-use technology sectors on strategic positioning, market entry and investment opportunities within the Canadian defence ecosystem.
